The Grossman Group Inc., headquartered in Westerville, Ohio, has been a recognized and trusted local, National and International processor and broker of multiple recyclables. TGG specializes in developing markets for paper, cardboard, plastics, hard back and soft back books. With multiple locations and affiliate operations, TGG has expanded over the years to include Industrialbags.com, Book-destruction.com and Lumber-wrap.net as well as Grossman Environmental Recycling which will specialize in land fill reduction by means of electronic recycling and the development of markets for multiple, contaminated municipal co-mingled residential and commercial recyclables.

TGG has developed a part of the old Waste to Energy facility in Columbus, Ohio putting in a fiber separation facility where they are separating cardboard, other papers, plastic, wood and metal from commercial trash. The paper and plastic is sold to paper mills and plastic re-grinders, vastly reducing volumes of trash which would have been hauled to the landfill.

TGG has been the recipient of two matching fund grants from ODNR amounting to over $639,000 for the purpose of accomplishing the above. We were also selected as the recipient of an advertising gift of $8,500 from SWACO for the purpose of expanding their efforts through creative advertising.

TGG was chosen by SWACO and the Mayor of Columbus as an example of the model recycling company to work with in expanding the Mayor’s efforts for a “greener” Columbus.
